Retired horse or pony boarding

It includes everything: accommodation, basic feed and a supplement tailored to any medical conditions (pellets, barley, etc.), which will be adjusted over time if necessary, the care required for the horse's well-being (grooming, hoof care, etc.), various procedures carried out by the farrier, veterinarian (vaccinations, etc.), dentist, and also worming.

Monitoring the horse is an integral part of my work, whether it involves small tasks (putting on blankets and masks provided by the owner) or more significant care.
The products used and my partners' fees (such as the veterinarian...) are payable by the owner.

Retirement is often a difficult transition for horses (and sometimes also for their owners) who are not used to living outdoors and in a group. For this reason, I offer a gradual adaptation and integration process for your companion, tailored to their health, background, and behavioral habits.

Breeding

It includes the same services as retirement, with a diet appropriate for pregnancy and living conditions that best suit her (in a stall at night, outside, alone, with her foal, with one or more others, depending on each individual), depending on the time of year and your wishes. Foaling and weaning will be charged separately.

After weaning, foals can of course remain at Millepieds and continue to be supplemented, handled, trained, and cared for like all the others.

Recovery

Rates are set according to the specific needs of each horse, taking into account its condition, the duration of care required, and the treatment to be provided.

This personalized care is defined in consultation with the horse's owner and based on the recommendations of the veterinarian responsible for its care.

A preliminary appointment is necessary in order to accurately assess the reception conditions and develop an appropriate protocol.
