Christine Boucan
Born in Nice to parents who were both passionate about horses, in horse riding and competition,I have been immersed in this world at very young age.
I was fortunate enough to live at a renowned equestrian center on the French Riviera, which allowed me to improve my skills thanks to excellent teachers and horse professionals.
I have thus pursued my career as a competitor anda teacher under the guidance of renowned professionals of various nationalities: Hubert Bourdy, Thierry Pomel, Manuel Malta Da Costa, Mr. Biancamaria, Mr. Stillwell, among other prominent figures.
In the early 2000s, I crossed paths with a few pioneers in ethology including that of an Amerindian breeder, whose approach is deeply rooted in his culture, and Olivier Cayre. Thanks to them, I am discovering a dimension of horses that is still little known in France
: natural horsemanship.
Eager to create a structure in line with the values I have gleaned over the years, I found the property of my dreams in Lot-et-Garonne, in Savignac de Duras. I can now begin. another approach on horses and pass it on.
Education, behavioral riding, homeopathy, herbal medicine, organic farming become part of my daily routine.
I have shared my love of horses for many years and today I wish to continue this work while offering our lifelong companions a comfortable and a natural life. A mission that is particularly close to my heart.
Knowledge that I passionately share with the riders at the stables. Riders from all walks of life: beginners, experienced, from classical and western backgrounds, enthusiasts of show jumping, cross-country, trail riding, groundwork, ridden work… but who share two essential qualities in my eyes: a love of horses and open-mindedness.
So, everyone on your saddle! (or on foot... whichever you prefer) to Millepieds !
